James Garvey James Garvey joined Schroder Ventures Life Science (SVLS) in May 1995 and serves as CEO and Managing Partner, overseeing its approximately $1.2bn investment activity. James brings a successful healthcare investment track record, preceded by 18 years of operating management experience. Prior to joining SVLS, he was Manging Director for the $600m Venture Capital division of Allstate Corporation preceded by managing Allstate\'s healthcare investment activity. Mr. Garvey has held several senior management positions in companies with multinational operations including Kendall (TyCo) & Millipore.
