Alexander S. McGrath is a Senior Investment Partner of Capital Resource Partners.  Capital Resource Partners was established in Boston, Mass., in 1987 and manages over $1 billion in five middle market focused mezzanine debt funds named Capital Resource Lenders, I, II, and III, Capital Resource Partners IV and V.  The mezzanine funds to date have provided subordinated debt to 75 privately held companies in a broad range of industries and locales.  Capital Resource Partners V, L.P., the most recent fund, has committed capital in excess of $165 million. Mr. McGrath focuses on the healthcare and consumer sectors for Capital Resource Partners.

Prior to joining Capital Resource Partners, he was an Associate with Atlas Associates, formerly Investments Orange Nassau, Inc., the United States venture capital division of an international venture firm based in the Netherlands. In this capacity, Mr. McGrath identified, analyzed and managed investments in healthcare, media and communications, and service industries. He played an integral role in originating transactions, structuring subordinated debt and equity investments, and managing investments in those businesses.  Previously, he was an Associate in the Capital Markets Group of Prudential-Bache Securities in New York.
 
Mr. McGrath graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in History.  He is currently a director of several privately held companies.
